Abeer Lababenah
Behaviour Consultant
Abeer Lababenah is a BCBA (Board Certified Behaviour Analyst) , She has many years of experience working with individuals and families living with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. She is familiar with ESDM (Early Start Denver Model) , ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis), ACT (Acceptance and commitment therapy) . She is bilingual in English and Arabic and works with children between the ages of 2-14.
She will provide Behaviour Support and Consultation, including:
- Consulting to develop learning plans, behavioural plans and social skills development plans.
- Supporting activities in assessing and treating children with ASD and other neurodevelopmental disorders. This includes: conducting home and school observations, collecting data/information from parents, teachers and others involved in a child’s care, and other duties as necessary.
- Consulting to schools regarding educational and behavioural strategies to optimize the classroom performance of children with neurodevelopmental disorders in their settings.
- Providing individual consultation with families and children within the home in assisting with behavioural or developmental intervention
Abeer is seeing clients both in person and online.
