Welcome to Emerging Minds!

We are sorry to inform families that we are closing our waitlist for our behaviour intervention (CIP) program.

This does not affect those who have applied for behaviour intervention services through our Canotek office.  That program is separate from the CIP program.

Here is what is open through Emerging Minds:

Canotek: (Occupational Therapy, Autism Consultation, and Behaviour Intervention)  Staff at this location are currently available for both in-person and telehealth services.

Hinton: (Behaviour Intervention and Parent Coaching)  Services at this location are only being offered through telehealth at this time.

Please see the individual clinician pages for contact information.

Emerging Minds is an interdisciplinary team with a focus on helping individuals of all ages with autism.

Our waitlist for adult assessments is currently closed.

Our waitlists for assessments for children under the age of 3 are currently open.  Please contact Debbie Ladisa at 613-728-3808 for more information.

Our speech therapists and occupational therapists are still accepting clients on their waitlists.  Please contact them directly if you are interested in services.

We realize this is disappointing news for some families.  We have assembled a list of alternate service providers in the Ottawa area.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
