Heather Fawcett is a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers. Heather has worked within the ASD community for twenty years, connecting families and professionals with resources, running family support groups, facilitating future planning for individuals, and advocating for better supports and services.  The focus of her private practice is counselling older teens and adults with ASD and their families.  She provides support to individuals and families in understanding ASD, managing anxiety and depression, handling life transitions, navigating relationships, and coordinating supports and services.  She works in partnership with each client to determine the best therapeutic approach.  Fees may be partly covered by insurance under social work.

Please note that Heather has limited openings in her waitlist for those seeking counselling.  She still offers short term consultations related to adult self-diagnosis and community resources.  For more information, please contact her administrative assistant, Debbie Ladisa at 613-728-3808 or hfawcett (at) asdwellness.ca. Appointments with Heather are at our location at 1276 Wellington Street West.
