She is also available for assessments through video conferencing or in-person sessions (for school-aged children). Julie Beauparlant is a professional fuelled by compassion and the need to make meaningful connections with people of all ages.
Julie is a registered Occupational Therapist and member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She is bilingual and a graduate of University of Ottawa. She brings with her 17 years of occupational therapy experience in the private and public sectors. She has worked with clients of all ages within the community and hospital settings. Julie is a registered Advanced Certified Autism Specialist (with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards) and is currently the Director of Therapeutic Services for our East-end office. She is also a certified Handwriting Without Tears interventionist and is in the process of obtaining her Early Start Denver Model certification. She challenges herself by continuously pursuing ongoing professional development attending seminars and courses for telehealth practice, sensory processing, self-regulation, feeding therapy, anxiety interventions as well as child development and functioning.
Julie is family oriented, young at heart and passionate about helping others. In her spare time, you can find Julie laughing with her 2 teenage boys, reading, doing puzzles, spending time with her family or reorganizing a room in her home or office.
