New Program At Emerging Minds

We are excited to announce a new behaviour intervention program at Emerging Minds: Parent Partnership Intervention! This program will be for children between the ages of 1 and 6 who have been diagnosed with autism.

In a Parent Partnership Intervention, parents will act as partners with the Emerging Minds team to provide the necessary intensive therapy for a child with autism. In the program, your child will begin to receive a minimum of 7 hours per week of one on one therapy with an educator therapist. In addition, parents will receive bi-weekly 1 hour parent coaching sessions, where parents will learn how to promote their child’s development outside of therapy.

We will still be offering our traditional Comprehensive Intervention Program, with intensive one on one intervention with an educator therapist.

We hope that this new program will allow us to offer better flexibility to families with autism so that every child can get the help that he or she deserves.
